Since our previous newsletter we have further improved our flagship product Vivid WorkshopData, adding new topics and additional data. In recent months, we have increased our editorial capacity and extended our coverage.

New data topics include battery reconnection procedures, A/C plug(s) and component locations and electronic parking brake manuals. In addition to our regular updates, we have extended the sections on Tyre Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS), drain and refill procedures for automatic gearboxes and the removal and installation manuals for gearboxes and clutches.
If you’re a parts distributor, you’ll probably welcome the addition of generic component numbers to the technical drawings. This provides a direct link between the drawings and the parts catalogue, greatly facilitating the ordering process.
We’ve also introduced an alternative way of presenting the service schedule. Whereas the standard presentation is based on the main vehicle components, the alternative presentation allows you to view the service schedule for the section of the vehicle you’re actually working on (‘under the bonnet’ or ‘underneath the car’).
