Vivid Automotive Data & Media is Europe's leading provider of online automotive data. To make sure our technical information is up to date and accurate, we have entered into contractual arrangements with all major vehicle manufacturers. After all, the quality of our data is the cornerstone of our products.
A new set of EU rules and guidelines governs the EU automotive market since 1 June 2010 (461/2010), in part replacing the Motor Vehicle Block Exemption Regulation 1400/2002. Under these new regulations, vehicle manufacturers may not make a warranty conditional on a vehicle being repaired and/or serviced within their network. In fact, consumers have the right to use any repair shop for 'non-warranty' repairs or maintenance, during the statutory as well as the extended warranty period.

- Unless otherwise indicated, the data included in Workshopdata ATI™ is based on the technical documentation provided by the Original Equipment Manufacturers (read: the vehicle manufacturers or OEMs).
- The maintenance data provided by Vivid Automotive Data & Media is based on the manufacturer's actual servicing schedules.
- Independent workshops are legally entitled to carry out normal maintenance and repairs during a vehicle's warranty period without invalidating the warranty conditions, provided such work is carried out in accordance with the servicing schedule provided by Vivid WorkshopData.
